Just a Band

In an electrifying and exhilarating concert held at the GoDown Arts Centre, Just A Band launched their second album titled '82'. The sizeable crowd at concert was truly entertained by Just A Band.

They sang along to most of the songs; they cheered wildly; they danced through most of the show and protested the end of the performance. The crowd demanded "four more songs" and the band obliged with two songs and one of them was a favourite, "Migingo". Guest performances by Juliani and Sauti Sol spiced up the concert and the crowd loved them; they got deafening welcome cheers and applause.

Sauti Sol members had been at the front next to the stage from the beginning of the concert and they danced nonstop and jumped onto the stage to give and lovely performance. Both guest performances were with the backing of Just A Band.

The Just A Band's trio - Bill Sellanga, Dan Muli and Jim Chuchu - are laid- back fun-loving young guys whose music has made a special connection with Kenyan youth in urban centres.Just A Band's music could be described as techno/house with distinct local flavour.
